Hi, I’m Neha

Born and brought up in Mysore, India, I have the honor of coming from a family of Yogis, Intellectuals, Sanskrit Professors, and Scientists who each hold deep knowledge & reverence for Indian culture.

I landed in the U.S. as an 18 year old college student with a scholarship to Oregon State University. I have found love, friends, and a community here and am now proud to call Portland, OR my home.

I spent years climbing the corporate ladder in the Tech industry and grew my career building software programs for professional sports teams - ones you’ve probably cheered (or booed) for. No matter how high I climbed, I realized that the glitz and glamor of this world did not fill the deeper need I felt to lead a more profound life.

My inner and outer journeys intersected when I turned earnestly to yoga to work through the grief of losing my Yogi father during the COVID 19 pandemic.

Through Samsara, I am on a mission to create space dedicated to self-care through yogic practice, guided by expert and kind instructors.

Why “Samsara”?

In the South Indian language Kannada, Samsāra (ಸಂಸಾರ) simply means Family.

Samsara Yoga is a labor of love by our Indo-Mexican family of seekers.
